Meet the founders
Built by people who understand that a home is more than a project.
Muskoka Lab was founded around a simple idea: the knowledge that goes into creating an extraordinary home should not disappear when construction ends.
We bring together experience across building, real estate, technology, entrepreneurship, and storytelling to create a better way for homeowners, builders, and everyone around a property to stay connected to its history, decisions, and future.

Co-Founder
Drew Wyle
Builder. Real estate operator. The voice of the homeowner and the job site.
Drew brings the perspective of someone who understands luxury homes from the ground level — how they are conceived, built, managed, sold, and lived in.
His experience across construction, project management, sales, and luxury real estate gives Muskoka Lab a direct connection to the people doing the work and the homeowners ultimately living with the decisions made during a build.
Drew helps ensure that Muskoka Lab solves real problems on real projects: making communication clearer, preserving important decisions, reducing information loss, and creating lasting value long after the keys are handed over.

Co-Founder
Mack O’Mahony
Storyteller. Brand builder. Making the invisible value of a home visible.
Mack brings the storytelling and communication layer to Muskoka Lab.
A remarkable property contains thousands of decisions, conversations, details, people, and moments that are rarely captured in a way that survives the construction process.
Mack focuses on how those stories are documented, organized, and ultimately communicated — helping transform the raw activity of building a home into something meaningful and understandable for homeowners, builders, and future generations of the property.
His work helps make Muskoka Lab more than a database of information. It becomes the living story of the home.

Co-Founder
Boon Chew
Technologist. Entrepreneur. Building the intelligence layer behind the home.
Boon has spent his career building technology companies and digital products, working across startups, global technology companies, and some of the world’s best-known brands.
He is the founder of Centaur Lab, an AI venture studio focused on creating new companies around domain expertise and artificial intelligence.
At Muskoka Lab, Boon leads the product and technology vision: building the intelligence layer that connects conversations, documents, photos, decisions, people, systems, and the physical home itself.
The goal is not simply to digitize construction records. It is to create a system that understands the context of a home — why decisions were made, who was involved, what changed, and what a homeowner needs to know years later.
Why we started Muskoka Lab
A home can take years to build. Its knowledge should last generations.
The most valuable knowledge about a custom home is often scattered across text messages, drawings, invoices, site conversations, photographs, emails, and the memories of the people who built it.
Then the project ends. Teams move on. Contractors change. Systems need service. New people become involved. And much of that knowledge becomes difficult — or impossible — to recover.
We believe the home deserves a permanent memory.
Muskoka Lab captures the context behind the property while it is being created, then carries that intelligence forward throughout the life of the home.
A living record of the home.
Founding principles
What we believe
01
Capture the context
The drawing may show what was built. The conversation often explains why. Both matter.
02
Preserve the human knowledge
A home is created by hundreds of people and thousands of decisions. That knowledge should not disappear when the project ends.
03
Build for the life of the home
Construction is only the beginning. The information created during the build becomes even more valuable years later.
We’re starting where the homes are hardest to understand — and most worth understanding.
Muskoka Lab is beginning with custom and luxury homes, where complexity, craftsmanship, systems, and long-term ownership make context especially valuable.
